Season's of Love
| Summer days bring your light Warm and calm like evenings flowing into night. Autumn's breeze drives you closer to me Casting ease and security. Winter snow chills my soul Yet your embrace shields me from the cold. And then Spring comes.. Full of flowers. Opening my heart to your love showers. These are the blessings each season brings. Drawing us together for all eternity. |
I think it flows very well, but just from a personal stand-point, I didn't like how it seemed like each line was a cut-off point, starting a new phrase on the next line. My favorite poetry just flows through the entire thing, and even though lines have a clearly defined rhyme scheme, it can be read almost as though it were prose.
ReplyDeleteGood job though. It's very lovely.
